The Sustainable Coffee Bay Npo team is growing and we thought it was time to introduce the team to you ๐Ÿ™‚

At the end of November, I (Dawn) will be leaving Sustainable Coffee Bay and will be going on a much needed sabbatical.
I will be re-locating a whole 9km south of Coffee Bay, to the pretty area of Hole in the Wall.

We are very pleased to welcome Nola Elliott as the new Projects Manager for Sustainable Coffee Bay. Nola has many years experience in the NPO sector and we are sure she is going to take Sustainable Coffee Bay to the ‘next’ level. Wishing Nola the best of luck and happiness in her new position!

Jess Bailey will be taking over as Principal of Ikhaya Labantwana Montessori, and we wish Jess an amazing journey as a Montessorian, with Ikhaya Labantwana.

Working with Jess at Ikhaya Labantwana Montessori are 3 Xhosa Montessori Assistants, Nokuthula, Irene and Fundiswa, who are currently doing their Montessori Diploma through MCSA. The ladies will qualify at the end of 2014.
Nokuthula Sinyeke started with Ikhaya Labantwana when it was still housed in the rondawel in 2011, so she has the most experience and has really grown with the school. Other than teaching, Nokuthula is the parent liaison for the school. She has two sons, aged 7 and 2.

Irene Gaqa started at Ikhaya Labantwana in 2012 and other than teaching, Irene is the dynamic link between Ikhaya Labantwana and the Department of Social Development. She has one son aged 3.

Fundiswa Sihoyo started at Ikhaya Labantwana in 2013 and other than teaching, Fundiswa is responsible for cleanliness of equipment at the school. She a daughter of 7 years and a son of 1.

Hlehle Marelane is the cook and housekeeper at Ikhaya Labantwana Montessori. Hlehle used to cook lunch for the builders when the school was being built, and due to their good comments about her cooking, she secured herself a job at the school. Hlehle has two sons, aged 8 years and 6 months. Her daughter is 6 years old.

Nontsha Sethe is the Community Liaison Officer for Sustainable Coffee Bay and Nontsha has a varied and talkative job.She is a live-wire and is always ready with a smile and a joke. She is a grandmother, as well as a mother.
